Nebraska High School Volleyball - Pierce tips Norfolk Catholic

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) and the visiting Norfolk Catholic Knights (Norfolk, NE), observed Pierce's volleyball team hold off Norfolk Catholic by a count of 2-1.

The Bluejays (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (Columbus, NE). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Lakeview got by Scotus (Columbus, NE), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Malcolm for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Norfolk Catholic will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Bend Central (North Bend, NE). The Clippers record now stands at 12-5.
