The Central York Panthers (York, PA) football overcame the visiting South Western Mustangs (Hanover, PA), 29-12 in Wednesday's non-league game.
The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Red Lion (Red Lion, PA). The Lions come into the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Red Lion was dropped by Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA), 50-12, in a non-league game.
The Mustangs now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shippensburg for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 12. South Western will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 21-0 league win over Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-0.
