In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the St. Pius X Sartans.
The Chargers (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings come into the 4A District 6 battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Valley by Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 4-3, in a league battle.
The Sartans (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates come into the 4A District 5 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Grants nudged Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 2-0, in a league battle.
