In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Saranac Chiefs soccer squad scored a close 7-0 win over the Peru Nighthawks.
The Chiefs (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles go into the Northern battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Beekmantown nipped Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Nighthawks (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY). The Patriots go into the Northern battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, AuSable Valley was overwhelmed by Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY), 4-3, in a league battle.
