Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Huskies confront the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 10. Ashe County will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC).
The Spartans now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hibriten for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 10. South Caldwell will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
