The Fort Chiswell Pioneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Tazewell Bulldogs to 0 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Pioneers now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Giles for a non-league game on Thursday, October 6. Fort Chiswell will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 14-2.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Virginia High (Bristol, VA). The Bearcats enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Virginia High was dropped by Marion (Marion, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
