The Poquoson Islanders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host York Falcons to 0 in the Islanders non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Islanders now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warhill for a non-league game on Monday, October 10. Poquoson will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA). The Lions record now stands at 5-5.
The Falcons (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Smithfield (Smithfield, VA). The Packers enter the non-league game with a 0-9 record. In their last game, Smithfield dropped by New Kent (New Kent, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
