North Carolina High School Soccer - First Flight knocks off Northeastern

The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) soccer bounced the host Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 6-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the win, First Flight moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Manteo (Manteo, NC) to battle the Redskins in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Monday, October 10. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Manteo won 4-2 in their recent league bout against Camden County (Camden, NC)
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 6. Northeastern will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Washington Montessori (Washington, NC).
