The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the visiting Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC), saw Pinecrest's soccer squad get by Southern Lee by a margin of 1-0.
The Patriots now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Lee County for a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Monday, October 10. Pinecrest will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Southern Lee drops to 6-7 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to meet the Bucks in a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Monday, October 10. The Bucks come into the test with a record of 7-7. Hoke County won 3-2 in their recent league test against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)
