Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA), 19-11 in a league challenge.

The Storm now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Banks County for a 2A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, October 6. Providence Christian Academy will face a Leopards squad coming off a 14-9 league loss to Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Leopards record now stands at 14-9.

With the loss, East Jackson falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Union County (Blairsville, GA) to face the Panthers in a 2A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, October 6. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 15-5. Union County won 14-9 in their recent league challenge against Banks County (Homer, GA)
