The Flowery Branch Falcons softball team (Flowery Branch, GA), was tipped 2-1 in Wednesday's league test with the host Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA)

Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a 5A Region 8 test, on Monday, October 10. Eastside will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Gladiators come into the test with a 6-18 record after their 6-5 league loss to Heritage (Conyers, GA).

The Falcons (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs come into the 5A Region 8 test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Winder-Barrow was tipped by Loganville (Loganville, GA), 4-1, in a league test.
