Fossil Ridge Sabercats (Fort Collins, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Sabercats now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they host Legacy for a 5A/4A Front Range challenge on Thursday, October 6. Fossil Ridge will face a Lightning squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Prairie View (Henderson, CO). The Lightning record now stands at 13-9.

With the loss, Prairie View falls to 1-18 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks travel to Erie (Erie, CO) to face the Tigers in a 5A/4A Front Range challenge on Thursday, October 6. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 18-3. Erie won 10-3 in their recent league challenge against Loveland (Loveland, CO)
