Arizona High School Volleyball - Apache Junction edged by Vista Grande

The Vista Grande Spartans held off the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.

The Spartans now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coronado for a 4A - Black Canyon test on Tuesday, October 18. Vista Grande will confront a Dons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Dons record now stands at 0-11.

The Prospectors (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Cortez (Phoenix, AZ). The Colts enter the 4A - Black Canyon test with a 0-10 record. In their last test, Cortez was nudged by Dysart (El Mirage, AZ), 3-0, in a league test.
