The Bassett Bengals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host George Washington Eagles to 0 in the Bengals league victory on Wednesday.
The Bengals now have a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martinsville for a Piedmont game on Monday, October 10. Bassett will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-11.
The Eagles (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans enter the Piedmont game with a 16-0 record.
