The Pumas (22-3) will now prepare for their battle against Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA). The Golden Bears come into the Southwestern battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Temecula Valley lost by Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Rams encounter the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) in a Southwestern battle, on Monday, October 10. Murrieta Mesa will attempt to advance on its 10-15 season record. The Nighthawks come into the battle with a 15-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Great Oak (Temecula, CA).
