California High School Volleyball - Nevada Union edged by Lincoln

The Lincoln Fighting Zebras held off the visiting Nevada Union Miners volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.

The Fighting Zebras now have a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Placer for a Foothill Valley League test on Monday, October 10. Lincoln will confront a Hillmen team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 4-8.

The Miners (12-18) will now prepare for their test against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers enter the Foothill Valley League test with a 17-11 record. In their last test, West Park held off Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
