The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) and the host Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ), saw West Point's volleyball squad beat Tolleson by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, West Point upgrades its record to 14-12 on the year. The Dragons travel to Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ) to play the Rams in a 6A - West Valley bout on Thursday, October 13. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-9.
The Wolverines now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Vista for a 6A - West Valley bout on Tuesday, October 18. Tolleson will play a Monsoon squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Monsoon record now stands at 14-6.
