The Lakeland Cavaliers volleyball team (Suffolk, VA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA)

The Hornets (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats come into the Southeastern challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Great Bridge defeated Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers encounter the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 0-15 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA).
