The Rogers Vikings football team (Newport, RI), was tipped 21-18 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting West Warwick Wizards (West Warwick, RI)

The Wizards (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Johnston (Johnston, RI). The Panthers come into the Division III-B challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Johnston nipped Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI), 28-0, in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pilgrim for a Division III-B challenge on Friday, October 13. Rogers will meet a Patriots team coming off a 44-21 league win over Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 3-2.
