The Canyon Springs Pioneers held off the host Desert Pines Jaguars soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's league match.

The Pioneers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Valley for a game on Monday, October 9.

The Jaguars (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Centennial (Las Vegas, NV). The Bulldogs go into the game with a 11-0 record. In their last game, Centennial nipped Basic (Henderson, NV), 4-0, in a league game.
