In Thursday's league battle, the visiting La Cueva Bears soccer squad scored a close 8-3 triumph over the Eldorado Golden Eagles.
The Bears (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions come into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record.
The Golden Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, West Mesa was overwhelmed by Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
