The Patriots (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Pulaski County was nudged by Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights encounter the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 9. Cave Spring will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Carroll County (Hillsville, VA).
