In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Polk County Wolverines volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Chase Trojans.
The Wolverines (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, East Rutherford defeated R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Trojans encounter the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Chase will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-17 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC).
