The Nelson County Governors volleyball team (Lovingston, VA), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA)
The Cavaliers (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against George Washington (Danville, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, George Washington was dropped by Halifax County (South Boston, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Governors encounter the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Nelson County will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record.
