The Whirlies now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Page for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 10. Grimsley will meet a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 5-5.

The Cowboys (11-9) will now prepare for their game against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers enter the game with a 6-12 record. In their last game, Ragsdale was dropped by Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
