In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Gaston Wildcats.
The Mountaineers (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. North Gaston will attempt to advance on its 0-12 season record. The Greenwave come into the battle with a 3-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC).
