The Madison County Mountaineers volleyball team (Madison, VA), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Luray Bulldogs (Luray, VA)

The Bulldogs (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Central Woodstock defeated Page County (Shenandoah, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers meet the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 9. Madison County will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Fighting Hornets enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
