The Rebels (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles enter the challenge with a 11-2 record.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 9. Union will attempt to move on its 0-15 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
