The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) and the visiting Waterloo Tigers (Waterloo, NY), saw Wayne's volleyball squad nip Waterloo by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Wayne upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Eagles host Geneva (Geneva, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alexander for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9.
