The crowd at Thursday's league test between the St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) and the visiting Boston College High Eagles (Boston, MA), saw St. John's's soccer squad get by Boston College High by a count of 2-1.
The Pioneers now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Xaverian Brothers for a Catholic test on Tuesday, October 10. St. John's will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Boston College High drops to 5-2 on the season. The Eagles host Chaminade (Mineola, NY) to meet the Flyers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. The Flyers come into the test with a record of 8-1. Chaminade won 3-0 in their recent league test against Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY)
