Gill St. Bernard's Knights (Gladstone, NJ) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers (Bridgewater, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Gill St. Bernard's will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Stateliners enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ).
The Panthers now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin for a Skyland - Delaware East challenge on Saturday, October 7. Bridgewater-Raritan will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.
