North Carolina High School Soccer - Piedmont Community Charter knocks off Carolina International

October 5, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 6. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Christ the King (Huntersville, NC).

The Comets now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlotte for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19. Carolina International will confront a team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Carolina International (Concord, NC). The record now stands at 0-1.
