In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the East Mountain Timberwolves.
The Sundevils (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Lynx come into the A/3A District 1 battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Rehoboth Christian nudged Monte Del Sol Charter (Santa Fe, NM), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Timberwolves (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Robertson by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
