The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) and the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), saw Mayfield's soccer squad get by Gadsden by a margin of 3-2.

The Trojans now sport a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a 5A District 3 test on Tuesday, October 10. Mayfield will meet a Knights squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Gadsden drops to 8-6 on the season. The Panthers host Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to meet the Tigers in a 5A District 3 test on Tuesday, October 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-11. Alamogordo lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM)
