With the victory, New London moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Whalers host Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT) to confront the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Tigers enter the bout with a record of 1-6. Tourtellotte won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT)

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 7. Lyman Memorial will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Centaurs enter the bout with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT).
