Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Adairsville Tigers (Adairsville, GA), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 23-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ridgeland for a 3A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, October 10. Gordon Lee will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 11-2 league loss to Bremen (Bremen, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-15.

With the loss, Adairsville falls to 6-16 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA) to battle the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 9. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a record of 17-8. Sonoraville won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Cartersville (Cartersville, GA)
