The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) and the visiting Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA), saw Banks County's softball squad nip Providence Christian Academy by a count of 6-5.
The Leopards now sport a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Jackson for a 2A Region 8 match on Tuesday, October 10.
With the loss, Providence Christian Academy falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Storm host Union County (Blairsville, GA) to face the Panthers in a 2A Region 8 match on Tuesday, October 10. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 8-8.
