The Liberty North Eagles the host Blue Springs Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 13-11 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Eagles (10-16) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Park (Kansas City, MO). The Northmen go into the non-league battle with a 11-12 record. In their last battle, Oak Park by Fort Osage (Independence, MO), 11-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 20-12 record. They play next when they host Truman for a Class 4 District 14 battle on Thursday, October 12. Blue Springs will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 13-18.
