The Heritage Pioneers volleyball team (Lynchburg, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA)

The Lancers (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues enter the non-league challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Parry McCluer defeated Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) in a Seminole challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Heritage will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA).
