The Chincoteague Ponies topped the host Arcadia Firebirds volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Ponies now have a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salisbury Christian for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 11. Chincoteague will confront a team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Nandua (Onley, VA). The record now stands at 5-2.
The Firebirds (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Yellowjackets enter the Eastern Shore test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Northampton gained a win over Nandua (Onley, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
