The Pleasanton Bulldogs held off the visiting Axtell Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst for a test on Thursday, October 5. Pleasanton will confront a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 17-5.

The Wildcats (19-4) will now prepare for their test against Amherst (Amherst, NE). The Broncos enter the non-league test with a 17-5 record. In their last test, Amherst was nudged by Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE), 3-0, in a non-league test.
