California High School Volleyball - Yucca Valley edged by Banning

The Banning Broncos held off the host Yucca Valley Trojans volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Broncos now have a 2-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coachella Valley for a Desert Valley test on Tuesday, October 10. Banning will confront a Mighty Arabs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA). The Mighty Arabs record now stands at 20-7.

The Trojans (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA). The Lions enter the Desert Valley test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Cathedral City was nudged by Orange (Orange, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
