The Belle Plaine Plainsmen volleyball team (Belle Plaine, IA), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the host H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA)

The Warriors (9-15) will now prepare for their challenge against West Fork (Sheffield, IA). The Warhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 2-18 record. In their last challenge, West Fork was nudged by Central Springs (Manly, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Plainsmen meet the East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Belle Plaine will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 2-20 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA).
