The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins (Elizabeth City, NC) and the host Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), saw Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech's volleyball squad beat Bertie by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Griffins travel to New Life Academy (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-11. New Life Academy lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Victory Christian (Elizabeth City, NC)

The Falcons now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host North East Carolina Prep for a Four Rivers 1A bout on Tuesday, October 10. Bertie will play a squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Martin County (Williamston, NC). The record now stands at 4-6.
