The Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA) volleyball overcame the host Calipatria Hornets (Calipatria, CA), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Southwest EC upgrades its record to 15-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to High Tech CV (Chula Vista, CA) to face the Bruins in a non-league outing on Friday, October 6. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 5-11. High Tech CV lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against The Cambridge School (San Diego, CA)
