The Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) volleyball nudged the visiting York Wildcats (York, ME), 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Cape Elizabeth upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Capers travel to Wells (Wells, ME) to face the Warriors in a Class B outing on Tuesday, October 10. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 2-8. Wells lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Greely (Cumberland Center, ME)
The Wildcats now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Yarmouth for a Class B outing on Saturday, October 7. York will face a Clippers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 5-3.
