California High School Volleyball - San Mateo tips Carlmont

October 5, 2023: San Mateo, CA 94401

In Thursday's league contest, the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Bearcats battle the Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA) in a Peninsula - Bay contest, on Tuesday, October 10. San Mateo will attempt to better on its 16-9 season record. The Ravens go into the contest with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA).

With the loss, Carlmont moves to 13-10 on the year. The Scots host Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to battle the Panthers in a Peninsula - Bay contest on Tuesday, October 10. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 15-4. Burlingame won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA)
