Iowa High School Volleyball - Waverly-Shell Rock overwhelmed by Cedar Falls

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Cedar Falls Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks.
The Tigers (24-3) will now prepare for their battle against Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA). The Trojans come into the Mississippi Valley - Mississippi battle with a 5-18 record. In their last battle, Waterloo East lost by Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Go-Hawks encounter the Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Waverly-Shell Rock will attempt to advance on its 8-20 season record. The Railsplitters come into the battle with a 3-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA).
