Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Comets clash with the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A match, on Tuesday, October 10. Clayton will attempt to advance on its 18-3 season record.
