The Glades Central Raiders held off the visiting Clewiston Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Raiders now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palm Beach Gardens for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 10. Glades Central will confront a Gators team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Dreyfoos School of the Arts (West Palm Beach, FL). The Gators record now stands at 7-7.
The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their test against East Lee County (Lehigh Acres, FL). The Jaguars enter the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, East Lee County was nudged by South Fort Myers (Fort Myers, FL), 3-0, in a league test.
